Lac Amy, Quebec: Fishing Spots and Seasons

  Look for Lac Amy in Nord-du-Québec, Quebec. What surrounds it is spruce and muskeg. Small at around 5 hectares: two anglers spread out cover most of it. On size it sits at the modest end of our Nord-du-Québec list. Supplies mean a trip to Chibougamau, 58 km off. Mistissini is 85 km and Chapais 87 km. • Where to Fish on Lac Amy

  Nothing we hold settles how deep this runs. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow.
