No direct sun expected today, with a mirror surface most of the day and steady pressure. Expect most activity at Lac Agave around inflow corners and shaded margins. If you must go, go in the middle of the day. Keep baits small and presentations quiet. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Lac Agave sits in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, out in Quebec. The surface lies 343 metres up. It measures about 10 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. Val-d'Or is the closest town at 55 km. Senneterre lies 63 km off, Barraute another 76 km. Others within reach: Lac Puyvert at 0.9 km, Lac Caraco (1 km), Lac Marbre at 1.1 km, Lac Flibuste (1.3 km) and Lac Rully at 1.8 km. This one is safely inside the county line.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Fish documented in Abitibi-Témiscamingue include northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, white sucker and brown bullhead. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. Fish Lac Agave where the bottom changes rather than where it looks deep.
July is the warm end of the year here, averaging about 17°C, while January sits near -16°C. Water stays cold even at the height of the year. Hard water holds through the cold months, breaking up near early May. Break-up sits around early May on average, with the water closing again about mid November. Reckon on open water from spring through to late autumn, with May and June the strongest. The season on Lac Agave follows the weather closely.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. Nothing is mapped in the way of a ramp or car park within a short radius. A wire trace and a big bright lure handle the pike; deep water asks for a heavier spoon. A landowner's word beats anything printed elsewhere. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. Lac Puyvert sits 0.9 km off and takes the overflow. Check the position on Lac Agave before loading the car.
