Cloud from horizon to horizon today, with almost no wind to speak of with the barometer flat. Whatever swims in Lac Adam should be near the calm side of the wind. A slow day overall; the evening is the best of a quiet lot. Lower the pace and stay patient. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Look for Lac Adam in the Côte-Nord part of Quebec. It lies 383 metres above sea level. This is a pocket water of some 5 hectares, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Côte-Nord. For supplies, Chute-aux-Outardes is 86 km out. Beyond it, Hauterive at 86 km and Baie-Comeau at 91 km. Rules here are straightforward: one set of provincial rules.
Depth is unmeasured here, so let the shoreline guide you. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Across Côte-Nord, recorded fish include logperch. The list covers the county rather than this water alone, so treat it as a guide. Work Lac Adam in sections rather than trying to cover it.
The warmest month averages 16°C, the coldest about -19°C. The freeze holds for the better part of the year. Ice is part of the season here, ending near early May. The open-water window runs from around early May to about mid November in an average year. Spring is short and heavy here; autumn is longer and steadier. It sets the rhythm of the year at Lac Adam.
No access rule appears in what we hold. Public mapping records no formal access here, so plan for a walk and soft ground. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Rules differ from one water to the next round here. Where tickets apply, they are sold in the nearest town rather than on the bank. Should this one be busy, Lac Emilie is 0.8 km off. Where Lac Adam is concerned, a local answer beats a written one.
