Lac a la Savane near Amos: Fishing Spots, Seasons and Access

• Overview

  Lac a la Savane is one of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue listings for Quebec. This is northern bush country. At about 22 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly.   Whether you may fish here is not something records settle. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. No car park, ramp or path is recorded within easy reach of the shore. A wire trace and a big bright lure handle the pike; deep water asks for a heavier spoon. Look for a notice board at the entrance.
