A sharp, clear morning turning into a bright day, with almost no wind to speak of with the barometer flat. Activity on Tee Lake should centre on the first drop-off and weed lines. Expect the better fishing from afternoon into evening. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

Tee Lake is one of the Algoma listings for Ontario. Beyond the shoreline you have pine and birch. With some 49 hectares of water, there is room for a boat but no need of one. Some 6.5 km of bank gives room to move when the wind turns. Thessalon at 41 km is the nearest place to stop. For a city, Greater Sudbury is 194 km off. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
We hold no depth figure for this one. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Across Algoma, recorded fish include walleye, northern pike, Iowa darter and yellow perch. Take it as the county picture rather than a promise for this water. Tee Lake gives up more to patience than to distance.
Average temperature peaks around 18°C in July and bottoms out near -12°C in January. A hard winter is normal, and the thaw brings a strong few weeks. Ice fishing carries the winter, and the water opens about late April. The lid tends to go about late April and return around late November. The shoulder weeks of the open season are the productive ones. Tee Lake runs to that rhythm year in and year out.
The rules here are undocumented as far as public sources go. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. Nothing built is recorded close to the bank here. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Parking space is the usual limit rather than the bank itself. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. Pine Island Lake sits 1.3 km off and takes the overflow. For Tee Lake in particular, ask before you travel.
