Flat light and a covered sky today, with an easy breeze from the SW and pressure sitting still. Start the search at Nugent Lake along inflow corners and shaded margins. Bank on the evening and treat the rest as bonus. Push the good hours hard and rest through the dead ones. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Look for Nugent Lake in Sudbury, Ontario. Height above sea level is 347 metres. About 1.03 sq km, so local knowledge or a boat saves a lot of walking. Shoreline length is close to 8.4 km, and each section fishes a little differently. It ranks high for size among our Sudbury listings. The town to know is Timmins, 66 km out. Greater Sudbury is the closest city, 156 km away. It sits well inside its county, with no border complications.
Depth went unrecorded, which puts the reading back on you. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Reported across Sudbury: smallmouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, Iowa darter and walleye. These are county-wide records, so not all of them will be in this water. Nugent Lake gives up more to patience than to distance.
Climate records put July near 17°C and January near -17°C. Cold winters and warm summers give a wide working range. Once it clears, about early May, the fishing comes on quickly. Expect the water usable from around early May until roughly mid November. Late spring and early autumn carry the year between them. Plan any trip to Nugent Lake around it.
Whether you may fish here is not something records settle. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. Nothing in the way of made access shows up nearby: no ramp, no car park, no path. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Some banks are open only from a marked point. Access can change hands, so last year's answer may not hold. Chamandy Lake at 1.8 km is the sensible second choice. Signs at Nugent Lake carry more weight than any list.
