Bands of rain crossing through the day, with a helpful ripple pushed from the SSE and pressure going nowhere. Whatever swims in North Arm should be near shallow cover and weed edges. Plan around the stretch from the day. Keep moving until you find them. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

Neighbouring water: Elwood Lake within 8.9 km, Seldom Lake a shade over 9.2 km, Little Savant Lake within 9.8 km, Jabez Lake a shade over 10 km and Endogoki Lake within 10 km. No county line comes close, which keeps the paperwork simple.
Depth is unmeasured here, so let the shoreline guide you. Salt and fresh mix here, and the mixing line is worth finding. Flats either side fish on the drop as bait is pushed off them. Across Thunder Bay District, recorded fish include cisco, blackfin cisco and rainbow smelt. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. At North Arm the first feature you find is worth twenty minutes.
Average temperature peaks around 17°C in July and bottoms out near -21°C in January. The year runs cold to warm and back, with clear transitions. Ice-out usually falls in early May, and the weeks after it fish hardest. Climate figures give an open season running early May to mid November. The strong weeks are the first after break-up and the last before the freeze. On North Arm that shapes the whole year.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. Mapping shows no built access close by; expect to walk in from wherever you can leave the car. Keep the gear simple: light line, small hooks, split shot and a couple of proven lures. Season dates differ by species, so read the table. Some water is controlled locally without a sign saying so. Elwood Lake, 8.9 km away, makes the obvious fallback. None of that is settled for North Arm in what we hold.
