The county line is nowhere near, so one local authority covers the water.

• Where to Fish on Pharaoh Lake

No chart reached our records; the first cast is your sounding. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Fish Pharaoh Lake to its features, not to its size. Note where the bottom hardens and work back along it.

• Seasonal Patterns

In an average year August sits at 10°C and January at -13°C. Seasons are distinct, and each one fishes differently. The open season starts with the thaw, near enough late May. On the long-run averages the water opens up around late May and starts locking again about late October. Spring is short and heavy here; autumn is longer and steadier. Anyone fishing Pharaoh Lake regularly works to that calendar.

• Tackle & Baits

Our records carry no access rule either way. No car park, ramp or path is recorded within easy reach of the shore. Read any posted signs at the access point rather than assuming. Close seasons apply to some species and not others. Black Rock Lake, 0.7 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Rules at Pharaoh Lake are worth checking on the day.
